 | Ask your internet provider whether they use PAP (Password Authentication Protocol) or CHAP as the authentication method. When in doubt, use PAP, because it will try PAP first before going to CHAP, whereas the CHAP setting goes directly to CHAP. CHAP will work fine with Earthlink, by the way. If you choose, you can enter 'netscape' in the Execute program upon connect box. I leave it blank, because I moght be RECONNECTING with Netscape already open. |
